    The Isaacson Family

    The Rosen Family

This year, you’ll notice something you may not have seen before on the ballot for the Beachwood Board of Education.  For the first time in anyone’s memory, there are no incumbents seeking your vote.  Beth Rosenbaum and Jen Tramer are leaving the Board after 12 and 4 years, respectively.

That doesn’t mean that the Board candidates lack experience, in fact, quite the opposite is true.  Only two candidates running for the Board of Education have years of involvement in our schools.  Only two candidates have years of experience with the issues, concerns, strengths and weaknesses of the Beachwood Schools.  Only two candidates running have a plan to lower administration costs and close our achievement gaps.

Those candidates are Alec D. Isaacson and Steven Mark Rosen.

Only Alec and Steve have been attending board meetings on a regular basis for years.  Only Alec and Steve have been involved in the schools in a variety of capacities, from in room volunteers, to leadership roles.

Alec and Steve have the knowledge and the skills needed to hit the ground running, ensure our schools remain strong, and that your money is wisely spent.  They are committed to getting more money into the classrooms by reducing administrative overhead, improving communications with the community, enhancing educational programs, and closing achievement gaps.
